Shipping Policy
LEAD TIMES - Our RTA cabinets usually ship within 3-5 days and assembled in 5-7 days. However, we do not ship partial orders. If part of an order is out of stock a CABINETS DIRECT USA sales representative
will contact you to discuss the status of your order.
SHIPPING COSTS - Shipping costs are the amount included in your order and are totaled when the order is completed online.
SHIPPING TYPES - Orders are usually shipped via commercial freight carrier. This is solely at the discretion of the warehouse, and special shipping cannot be requested. The delivery is to the curb. If you
want items delivered inside, the additional fees are yours. Please call to request inside delivery. If your order is shipped via a commercial freight carrier, the order is
delivered to your residence after you arrange the day and time; delivery arrangements are strictly between you and the carrier.
Tracking will be emailed to you the day your order ships so you can contact the carrier. You must be available to accept the
delivery within 3 days of the order arriving at the local freight terminal, and must work with the carrier regarding a delivery time;
the carrier will not work around your schedule. The shipment will be delivered to the curb or driveway. Be sure you provide any
information the driver might need to successfully reach your location; delivery trucks are quite large, and have limitations in some geographical areas.
DELAYED OR LOST SHIPMENTS - We will make every attempt to assist with lost or delayed shipments, but we ultimately will
not be held responsible for scheduling or delivery problems that occur after the order leaves our facility.
SHIPPING DAMAGES - In the event of shipping damages, please notify us immediately by calling us at .
NOTE: It is recommended that the shipping address provided be an occupied residence or business, to avoid possible complications.
ORDER CHANGES
Any additions, corrections, or changes made to an order must be made via phone ( ) and followed up with an email containing all the details to us within 24 hours of receipt of your order confirmation. Any changes requested after 24 hours
may incur a $50.00 fee and/or we may be unable to accommodate the request.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation of your order may incur a cancellation fee of 15% of the order total, not to exceed $200.00. Any cancellation request must be made via phone ( ) within 24 hours of receipt of your order confirmation. Follow the call with an
email containing all the details of your order to us. There are no cancellations allowed after 24 hours after an order is submitted.
RTA and ASSEMBLED RECEIVING AND INSPECTING
RECEIVING/INSPECTION
For Commercial Freight deliveries, you must carefully inspect the order for the following:
1. Visible Damage/Piece Count
a) Before signing the Bill of Lading, count each cabinet to verify that you have received the number of pieces listed on the Bill of
Lading. If the number of items does not match the Bill of Lading, note the missing items on the delivery receipt.
Missing items may not be able to be replaced free of charge if they are not noted at the time of delivery.
b) Perform a surface inspection of the order, noting any visible damage on the Bill of Lading. Be sure to retain a copy of this for your records as you may be asked to submit it to help resolve any issues.
2. Concealed Damage
a) You must unwrap and fully inspect each piece for concealed damage within 3 days of receiving the order.
b) If any concealed damage is found, note each item number with a brief description of the damage and report that damage immediately.
REPORTING
Reporting missing items and visible damage:
You must call to report any damage to immediately to get assistance. You must notify Cabinets Direct USA
within 24 hours of delivery/pickup. Please take pictures of any damage for future review. You must also be sure to fax a written
report to the carrier terminal. Email a copy of this report to us. The contact number for the carrier is on your delivery receipt. Both reports should include:
- Complete name, contact information, date
- Date of delivery, name of carrier, PRO # or Bill of Lading #
Reporting concealed damage:
You have 3 days to report concealed damage. Please follow the same method and include the same information for reporting missing/visibly damaged items.
**Damaged goods must be kept at site for 45 days, for possible inspection by carrier.

RETURN OF UNWANTED ITEMS
RTA cabinets: No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. Cabinets must be in original box and unopened. Customer
is responsible for all shipping costs, any damages during return shipping, and a 25% restock fee. Once an item has been
received, inspected and found in good condition, a check will be sent to the customer, less the above costs, at the provided
shipping address. To get pre-authorization for returning items you must contact customer service by phone ( ).
ASSEMBLED cabinets: No returns will be accepted of unwanted assembled cabinets.
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
All claims for defective merchandise must be received within 3 days of delivery.
RTA or ASSEMBLED cabinets: If you receive a defective product contact our customer service at to begin the replacement process. You will need to take photos of the defect and prepare a damage report to speed the inspection process.
Customer must hold items until our has arranged for return or authorized disposal of the pieces. Pickup will be arranged by our
for any returns. They must be in their original packaging. Properly documented and reported replacement items will be shipped
as soon as documentation is received and processed or as soon as the pieces become available if replacements are out of stock.
DAMAGED GOODS
All inspection and reporting procedures outlined by us must be followed or replacements may be denied.
